Join Yzma from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Emperor’s New Groove and a wicked crew of villains at this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park. See returning villains like Syndrome from Disney and Pixar’s The Incredibles and Maleficent from Disney Animation’s Sleeping Beauty.

Chocolate candy, signature sweets, and plenty of sinister surprises are surely some of the things to look forward to at Oogie Boogie Bash, but everyone knows that the villainous treat trail characters are the true stars of the show!
Roll the dice on an opportunity to see Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas in Hollywood Land or sing a secret song with Ernesto de la Cruz from Pixar’s Coco near the Hyperion Theater. There are so many legendary Disney villains that guests will only be able to spot at California Adventure during Oogie Boogie Bash.
Last year, Syndrome from Pixar’s The Incredibles and Maleficent from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Sleeping Beauty joined in on the fun, bringing chilling charm and frightening flair to this eerie event. Yet another special surprise is in store this year: Yzma from Disney Animation’s The Emperor’s New Groove will be stirring up some mischievous mayhem in Grizzly Peak, delighting guests with her clever potion-making capabilities and “pulling every lever” she can find in pursuit of her latest scheme.
With a great batch of iconic Disney villains to spot throughout guests’ autumn adventure, here are the additional characters they’ll be able to encounter throughout their search for sweets across California Adventure:
- Agatha Harkness in Avengers Campus
- Dr. Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb in Hollywood Land
- Hades from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Hercules in Hollywood Land
- Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit in Hollywood Land

In between immersive treat trails, thrilling Halloween Time ride overlays, and exceptional photo opportunities across the park (including unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass** digital photos during the party), guests may also see additional characters dressed in fall attire throughout California Adventure.

Look Out for More Chilling Characters During “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party”
At this year’s event, guests should be on the lookout for familiar and iconic moments from the Haunted Mansion on the streets of California Adventure during an all-new street party.
During this festive street party, select characters from Haunted Mansion will begin to materialize, as swirling ballroom dancers, ominous gravediggers, and a trio of hitchhiking ghosts get ready for a swinging wake with silly spooks and ghoulish delight.
