Frequently Asked Questions About Disney Vacation Planning
Quick answers to help you feel more confident about planning your trip..
Getting Started
Why should I use a Disney vacation planner when I can book everything online myself?
Disney vacations involve a lot of moving parts — reservations, Lightning Lanes, dining, hotels, and constantly changing details. My job is to simplify the process, personalize your trip, and help your vacation feel smoother from start to finish.
How far in advance should I start planning my Disney trip?
The sooner, the better! I recommend reaching out at least 6 months in advance, especially for busy seasons. That gives us the best shot at securing reservations and creating a magical, stress-free trip — but I can work with less time too!
What kind of support can I expect after my Disney vacation is planned?
From the moment we start planning until you return home, I’m with you. I’ll provide regular updates, answer any questions, and adjust plans as needed. You’ll have a friend making sure your Disney experience is as smooth and joyful as possible.
What’s Included in the Service?
What exactly do your planning services include?
My planning services vary depending on the package, but generally, I handle most of the details for your trip, including itinerary planning, dining reservations, and special experience bookings. I also provide useful tools and reminders to help guide you throughout your entire vacation. In some packages, I’ll take care of hotel bookings, park tickets, and ground transfers, while in others, those are things you’ll book yourself. In most of my packages, I’ll manage the theme park planning for you, but in others I give you tips and reminders and you do the park planning yourself.
Do you charge extra for dining reservations or itinerary updates?
Nope! My planning services are flat-fee, so once we get started, I’m with you all the way — no hidden fees or surprise add-ons.
Why pay extra for planning services when Disney trips are already costly?
Professional planning support helps families save time, reduce overwhelm, and avoid costly mistakes during their trip. My goal is to help your vacation feel smoother, more organized, and easier to enjoy from beginning to end.
Can you still help if my trip is coming up soon?
Yes — depending on availability, I can often help with last-minute trips as well. Because rushed planning requires additional time to finalize reservations and itineraries quickly, a rush fee may apply for trips booked close to travel dates.
