That’s me — age 10 — the trip that made me fall in love with Disney forever.

My love for Disney started with one small but unforgettable moment...

When I was 10 years old, I walked through the gates of Disneyland for the very first time, and a Cast Member looked right at me and said,

Welcome to Disneyland, Allison Willis.”

I was stunned.

This was back in the 80s, long before names were printed on tickets. My family was wearing matching sweatshirts that said “The Willis Family,” and I had a tiny heart-shaped pin with my first name on it… but none of that mattered to 10-year-old me.

I truly believed Disney was so magical that somehow, they just knew who I was.

And honestly? That feeling never left me.

That moment sparked not only my lifelong love of Disney, but also a fascination with the storytelling, history, and hidden details that make Disney experiences feel so meaningful and immersive.

Today, that’s the kind of magic I love creating for the families I work with — the kind that stays with you long after the trip is over.

But as I got older, my love for Disney grew into something even deeper: a fascination with the stories, creativity, and history behind the magic itself.

A deeper kind of Disney magic…

Years later, one of the most meaningful moments of my Disney journey happened during a D23 event, when I had the opportunity to tour the original Animation Building in Burbank, visit the Disney Archives, and even hold one of Walt Disney’s Oscars in my hands.

Standing on the same studio campus where Disney artists, animators, and Imagineers once dreamed up stories that would impact generations gave me an even deeper appreciation for the heart behind Disney magic.

It reminded me that Disney has never really been just about attractions or entertainment. At its core, it has always been about storytelling, imagination, connection, and creating moments people carry with them for a lifetime.

That perspective shapes the way I plan trips for my clients today. I love helping families discover not only the big magical moments, but also the hidden details, stories, and meaningful experiences that make Disney feel truly unforgettable.

A moment I’ll never forget — inside the Walt Disney Archives, Burbank, CA.

I take my planning seriously… but not too seriously.

Let’s Make Some Disney Magic — Minus the Stress

Disney vacations are filled with magical moments… but planning them can sometimes feel overwhelming. Between Lightning Lane strategies, dining reservations, hotel choices, and ever-changing details, it’s easy for families to feel stressed before the trip even begins.

That’s where I come in.

My goal isn’t just to help you “do Disney.” It’s to help your family experience it in a way that feels exciting, meaningful, and surprisingly stress-free.

When you work with me, I’ll guide you through every step of the planning process with my family-first planning method.  You’ll get personalized support and a custom approach designed around your family’s unique travel style.

That includes:

  • A personalized itinerary built around your family’s pace, priorities, and must-do experiences
  • Dining and experience reservations (so you don’t have to wake up at 4am refreshing your phone)
  • Insider tips and strategies to help you avoid unnecessary stress, navigate the parks confidently, and enjoy more magical moments together
  • Thoughtful touches, hidden details, and experience-focused planning that help your trip feel immersive and memorable from beginning to end

Whether it’s your very first Disney vacation or your fifteenth, I want you to feel free to slow down, soak in the magic, and focus on what matters most: making memories together.

Because the best Disney vacations aren’t just about rides and reservations.

They’re about the moments your family will still be talking about years later.

And family stories matter, because shared memories strengthen family bonds.

Specialized Expertise for Magical Adventures

While many travel advisors complete destination certifications, I’ve always been especially drawn to understanding the “why” behind the Disney guest experience.

Alongside ongoing Disney and Universal destination training, I’ve also completed Disney Institute’s Approach to Quality Service program — a course centered on the storytelling, intentionality, and guest-focused philosophy that continue to shape the way I serve my clients today.

Think we might be a good fit? Let’s create the kind of Disney magic your family will remember forever.

I Didn’t Want to Carry the Mental Load on Vacation

There have honestly been a couple of times where my husband and I thought, “You know, we’ve done this a few times… we could probably handle it on our own.”

But then we asked ourselves, why would we do that? She does it so much better — and if you do it yourself, you have to do it all yourself.

Disney is magical, but there is also just so much to do and so many different things to figure out. Having Allison’s itinerary really took the stress out of the whole experience. We actually ended up getting sick on this trip — my husband before we left, then I got sick — and because we had this great itinerary already in place, I didn’t have to stress about re-planning anything.

Even when we messed up our very first rope drop ride, I heard Allison’s voice in my head saying, “You can pivot if it’s a really long line,” and we switched to the next ride on the list and got on in two minutes. That kind of flexibility built into the plan made a huge difference throughout the whole trip.

Learning how to actually use the park was probably the most valuable part. Things like rider swap with multiple kids, Lightning Lane strategies, stroller tips, and how to talk to Cast Members if something comes up made everything run so much smoother. There were even times when we couldn’t get a Lightning Lane for the right time, went up to a Cast Member like Allison suggested, and they just told us to go on anyway.

Because everything was planned out ahead of time, we were able to get to rope drop on time every day and didn’t stand in lines more than about 20 minutes (except when we did Peter Pan wrong!). We could split up when needed, take breaks when someone wasn’t feeling well, and still see our kids’ favorite things again later because it was already built into the plan.

If I had to describe our experience with Practically Perfect Travel in one word, it would be stress-free. It really took the stress out of the whole experience so we could just enjoy the park and make memories instead of constantly figuring out what to do next.

I’ve already told friends — you will not regret it. People keep asking me how we knew the plan or how we figured out what to do, and I just tell them, I know this fabulous person, and she planned it.
